Weather & Cancellations

Ocean conditions can change. We’re prepared for that and we’ve built our policies with clarity and fairness in mind.

Weather Policy

M.V Vengeance is a professionally skippered vessel, and your safety is our top priority. We won’t cancel for light rain or overcast skies — in fact, some of our best days happen when the sun isn’t blazing.

We may reschedule or cancel if:

  • Wind or swell conditions are unsafe

  • Storm warnings are in place

  • There are mechanical or operational issues that impact safety

The final decision rests with our Captain. We’ll always prioritise safety and experience over pushing through poor conditions.

Rescheduling

If we decide the weather isn’t safe, you’ll be offered:

  • A rescheduled date that suits you

  • Or a full refund — your choice

We’ll always give as much notice as possible, but please understand that marine forecasts can change quickly and final calls may be made on the day.

Cancellations by You

We understand life happens — but because this is a private, limited-capacity experience, we have a firm cancellation policy.

  • More than 45 days before your charter: Full refund, minus 20% admin fee

  • 14–45 days before: Deposit forfeited

  • Less than 14 days: Full charter fee payable

No-shows or same-day cancellations are non-refundable.

Force Majeure

In the rare case of extreme weather, government restrictions, or other unavoidable disruptions, we’ll work with you to rebook or refund — no penalties.
